What is Bat?
Bat is the animal current code lists attach to the code Release. Reports call it a Bat or a rare Bat. The code is an acquisition path, not a measured Cash rank. Place it and read the rate on your base before you compare it with anything you hatched.

How do you get Bat?
Enter Release once in the Shop code field, then look in the animal roster. If Bat is already there, the code was likely used on this account.
How do you use Bat?
Equip Bat while you are still hatching your first eggs so the base is earning. Replace it when a placed animal shows a better rate under the same bonuses.
